Earlier this year the Large Hadron Collider Beauty Experiment came on line at CERN and is already producing results in the physics of the 'Big Bang' as well as fueling the local economy and boosting research in physics and computing throughout Europe.
It is sad that a second facility in the US in Southern Dallas called the Superconducting Super Collider never came online despite $2B of investment. Texas academia remains best known for the world class accounting program at UT Austin.
